At Adams Elementary School, the Paraprofessional serves as a vital partner to the instructional team, ensuring every student receives the support needed to thrive. This role is designed to bridge the gap between teacher-led instruction and individual student needs, fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
You will spend your day adapting classroom activities and materials to reinforce learning goals, assisting students individually or in small groups with reading, writing, and academic concepts, and providing essential clerical support to keep the classroom running smoothly. From monitoring students during field trips to maintaining accurate records and ensuring a safe physical environment, your contributions directly impact the daily success of the school community.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted directly by the Building Administrator. The process typically includes a review of qualifications, a brief interview to discuss experience and approach to student support, and verification of required credentials.
