At Kaiser Elementary School, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for every student. As a Paraprofessional in Special Education, you will play a vital role in our instructional program, working directly with individual students and small groups to reinforce classroom goals and academic standards.
This position is designed to support teachers by adapting materials, assisting with lesson assignments, and ensuring a safe, positive atmosphere both inside the classroom and during field trips. You will be an essential part of the team, helping students reach their full potential while managing necessary clerical tasks and maintaining accurate records of student progress and behavior.
Candidates must meet specific state-mandated qualifications, including a High School Diploma or GED, along with Tier 1 or Tier 2 (Special Education) requirements. Tier 2 candidates must also complete OSDE special education paraprofessional training, hold current CPR/First Aid certification, and complete annual professional development.
