About the Role
The Head Coach at Vinita High School is responsible for leading the VHS program to foster athletic excellence, academic integrity, and character development. This position goes beyond the court, tasked with upholding the "Hornet Standard" identity from the Varsity level down through our middle school and local youth leagues.\n You will serve as a vital link between the school and the broader community, actively supporting and coordinating with local Little League and City programs to ensure a consistent support system for youth athletes. The role requires using the court as a classroom to teach technical skills, strategic thinking, and the "Hornet Way" of sportsmanship, ensuring that every student-athlete is guided toward success both on and off the field.
