The Yard Manager serves as the operational anchor for our White Marsh facility, entrusted with overseeing and optimizing all yard activities to ensure seamless logistics and strict safety compliance. This role is critical for serving our business customers effectively, bridging the gap between material handling, inventory control, and customer satisfaction. You will foster a collaborative team atmosphere while managing the daily flow of goods, ensuring that documentation is accurate and stocking practices are orderly.
This position is based at our White Marsh, MD location (6275 Days Cove Road). The role requires a willingness to work outdoors and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions, with the ability to lift up to 80 pounds. The environment is fast-paced, demanding a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on management of loading, unloading, and yard organization.

Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment including Loaders, Forklifts, and Moffett; Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish; Experience in a supervisory role within logistics, warehouse, or yard management; Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory control software; In-depth understanding of occupational safety standards and regulations; Experience in coordinating logistics and supply chain processes; Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement; A High School diploma or equivalent OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in yard operations, landscaping, or equipment management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role; Forklift Certification.
