About the Team
Yarde Metals is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to join our Operations Team in Greensboro, NC. As a critical member of our workforce, you will play a vital role in keeping our supply chain moving efficiently and safely.
About the Role
This position is a safety-sensitive role focused on the accurate and secure handling of materials throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for the end-to-end movement of inventory, from receiving and inspecting inbound goods to preparing orders for shipment via common carriers, UPS, or customer pick-up.
Your day will involve operating powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts and overhead cranes, to move material and load/unload trucks. You will verify the accuracy of products against work orders, construct skids, and prepare items for delivery using various tools. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will inspect materials for defects, report discrepancies, and ensure all certifications and shipping tickets are printed correctly.
Hiring Process & Requirements
This is a 2nd Shift position (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) with a requirement for overtime. As a federal subcontractor, Yarde Metals complies with the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988, making drug testing a condition of employment. All candidates must be willing to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
Additionally, because Yarde Metals works with technologies and materials subject to U.S. Government Export Control Laws, all hires must be available for work and in compliance with ITAR regulations (22 CFR 120-130).
