Distribution Center Manager

About the Role

As a Distribution Center Manager, you will lead all facility operations, ensuring the accurate and timely movement of shipments from unloading to delivery. This role exists to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient operating environment while driving cost control and process improvement. You will manage a diverse team of drivers, supervisors, leads, and associates, fostering a culture of excellent customer service and problem-solving.

Your day will involve balancing people management with operational objectives, from enforcing safety and personnel policies to overseeing fleet compliance with DOT regulations. You will utilize a "Creativity before Capital" approach to develop strategies that reduce costs, increase inventory turns, and improve order turnaround times. Beyond daily logistics, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching team members to sustain a high-performing workforce.
