About the Role

The Yard Administrator reports directly to the Yard Manager and serves as the operational backbone of our facility. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of materials, parts, products, and stock items, ensuring the yard runs smoothly from incoming orders to outgoing customer tickets. It is a position designed for a critical thinker who can predict supply patterns and prioritize tasks with the business's best interests in mind.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve reviewing customer tickets for accuracy and resolving any concerns that arise. You will oversee the ordering of materials for the yard and maintain vigilant tracking of inventory status and supply usage. A key part of your role is keeping management informed of any delays or discrepancies with suppliers or shippers, as well as reviewing vendor invoices for potential issues. You will also handle scheduling yard transfers as needed. Above all, we expect you to have fun and enjoy what you do while supporting our team.
