As an X-Ray Tech at NCSH, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging team under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer. This position is designed to produce high-quality images for ordering physicians across a variety of modalities, including MRI, CT, Diagnostic Imaging, C-Arm Imaging, and Mammography.
Your day will involve interviewing patients to gather history and explain safety protocols, preparing patients for procedures through precise positioning and instructions, and operating complex imaging equipment with technical accuracy. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body standards, managing biohazard materials, and maintaining rigorous safety protocols regarding radiation exposure. Beyond technical execution, you will foster a cooperative work environment by applying principles of customer service, continuous quality improvement, and universal infection control guidelines to every interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
