We are seeking a dynamic educator and freelance Subject Matter Expert with a background in Journalism to write high school courses. This role is designed for passionate individuals who want to encourage young people to explore the field of journalism. The ideal candidate will help equip students with foundational knowledge for a variety of opportunities immediately upon high school graduation.
As a writer, you will create a two-semester course consisting of 16 units of study. Each unit will require 5,500 to 7,500 words of content. Your writing must be engaging and conversational, tailored specifically for students aged 13 to 17. You will work remotely as part of a large team, utilizing various technologies to deliver high-quality educational materials.
Work on this project is expected to begin immediately. As part of our hiring process, potential candidates may be invited to participate in a paid audition. This step allows us to demonstrate your ability to understand and meet educational standards, as well as write material at an appropriate level and in an engaging manner.
