Key Responsibilities
- check_circleImplement a developmentally appropriate curriculum and maintain an organized classroom environment
- check_circleSet consistent limits using positive language and facilitate emotional safety for each child
- check_circleEnsure the health, safety, and security of all children including daily playground duties
- check_circleCollaborate with co-teachers and directors to develop a high-quality program supporting child development
- check_circleParticipate in staff meetings, in-service training, and emergent curriculum planning sessions
- check_circleEstablish positive relationships with families through conferences, newsletters, and daily communication
- check_circleConduct play-based assessments and write progress reports using COR Advantage
- check_circleDocument children's interactions and learning through portfolios, checklists, and digital media
Requirements
- verifiedB.A. in Early Childhood Education or related field
- verifiedMassachusetts EEC Teacher Certification

An equivalent combination of education and experience in place of the required B.A. in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
