Climate Central is an independent group of scientists and science translators dedicated to researching and reporting the facts about our changing climate and its impact on people's lives. About the Role
We are seeking a collaborative Writer and Associate Editor with experience in science communication to support our editorial, creative, and communications work. This role is vital for ensuring the timely delivery of accurate, engaging climate change content. You will work across teams alongside writers, designers, scientists, technologists, and communications professionals to produce science explainers, data-driven articles, and reports. Reporting to the Vice President for Content Creation, you will play a key part in the editorial operations of Climate Matters, our weekly data-driven publication, helping to coordinate workflows, manage quality assurance, and identify newsworthy topics based on media trends and scientific research.
