About the Role

The Wound Nurse is responsible for assessing skin alterations, developing plans of care, implementing orders and treatments, and evaluating the progress of specialized skin and wound conditions. You will evaluate new admissions, complete regular wound rounds, document the status of wounds, and ensure timely notification of physicians and families regarding any changes. Additionally, you will identify wound types, analyze trends, and provide education to nursing staff.
