Our client is seeking a Workforce Management Specialist to serve as the operational backbone for Care Center Operations. This position is critical for maintaining service excellence across multiple internal sites and a vendor location, supporting a team of over 300 employees. The role exists to ensure staffing levels are optimized, service performance is maximized, and leadership is supported during high-volume events, such as weather emergencies.
In this 12-month contract role, you will act as the bridge between forecasted demand and real-time execution. Your day will involve developing and adjusting schedules based on call, email, and back-office workloads, while managing vacation requests to maintain operational continuity. You will coordinate training schedules, assign offline work like coaching and meetings, and support new hire onboarding through mentoring and floor-walking. A key part of your day-to-day involves monitoring daily workload volumes in real time, making immediate staffing adjustments to maximize productivity, and participating in a weekly on-call rotation to provide support outside standard business hours.
