We are seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator to join our team, where you will translate real-world needs into technical specifications to deliver customer-focused engineering solutions. You will leverage your extensive experience with servers, desktops, and Windows operating systems to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security within a government framework.

About the Role

In this role, you will be an integral part of delivering secure, mission-critical systems. You will enforce federal security postures by applying and maintaining STIGs across Windows Server, Active Directory, and DNS environments, while remediating vulnerabilities identified by security scans. You will lead complex, secure Active Directory migrations across different enclaves and domains, ensuring zero downtime for critical operations.

Your day-to-day will involve designing and maintaining Windows Server environments, managing enterprise-level Group Policy Objects, and utilizing SCCM or MECM for secure patch management and software distribution across classified and unclassified networks. You will develop advanced PowerShell scripts to automate configuration management and compliance monitoring, configure and secure IIS web servers, and act as the Tier 3 escalation lead for root-cause analysis of complex system and identity issues.
