Under the general supervision of the Welding & Fabrication Supervisor, this position serves as a critical link in our fabrication operations. The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for reading blueprints, preparing materials, and utilizing specialized equipment to join, repair, and modify metal components. The role demands a commitment to safety, accuracy, and high-quality workmanship, requiring the ability to operate independently while adhering to strict company specifications.
The role is primarily performed indoors on a concrete floor within a fabrication shop. The environment is characterized by extreme noise, temperature variations, dust, and welding fumes. Employees will be exposed to bright welding arcs and must safely operate heavy machinery including grinders, torches, and saws. The position may occasionally require outdoor work and shift work as operational needs dictate.
