About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in the fabrication of metal components. This position is designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic setting, combining technical precision with a commitment to safety and quality. You will be responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding on steel and other metals, ensuring all work meets stringent production specifications.
In this role, you will interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to plan your work effectively. Your day will involve setting up, operating, and maintaining welding and fabrication equipment safely, as well as grinding, cutting, and fitting components to prepare assemblies. Beyond the welding itself, you will inspect and test welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy, while maintaining accurate production documentation. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to meet schedules and participate in process optimization efforts, reporting equipment issues and assisting with basic preventive maintenance.
