About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional physical therapy services to patients within their homes. This role is vital in assessing and evaluating therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status, as well as participating in the development of the total plan of care. You will evaluate home environments, assess muscle strength, mobility, gait, and range of motion, and direct physical therapy treatment. Your day will involve instructing patients and families in the use of therapeutic appliances, determining priority needs, and reporting patient reactions to physicians. You will also initiate therapy programs, participate in case conferences, and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and home health aides according to organization policy and state regulations.
