Join the Platform Engineering team, where we build and support shared data services used across multiple applications. Our mission is to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the infrastructure that powers our products. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support the Redis caching platform and related tooling, applying your skills in automation, containers, and system operations to make a tangible impact on application resilience.
As a Contract Platform Engineer with a focus on Data Platforms, you will be the hands-on operator for our distributed caching technologies. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex architectural designs and reliable, day-to-day operations. You will support the deployment and maintenance of Redis and caching services across both VM and Kubernetes environments, ensuring that our systems remain performant and available.
Your day-to-day will involve assisting with the installation and configuration of Redis instances, managing workloads using Helm charts, and executing operational runbooks for upgrades and patching. You will collaborate with team members to troubleshoot application and platform issues, contributing to automation efforts using Ansible and scripting. Beyond technical execution, you will help maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and procedures, ensuring knowledge is shared and processes are repeatable.
