As a Contract Platform Engineer with a focus on Redis, you will be an integral part of the team that manages our caching infrastructure. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support the Redis caching platform and its related tooling, applying your skills in automation, containers, and system operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with distributed caching technologies and directly impact how these systems are utilized to improve application performance and scalability.
In this position, you will help operate and maintain Redis and caching services running on both virtual machines and Kubernetes environments. Your day-to-day will involve contributing to automation efforts, supporting operational stability, and learning industry best practices for building reliable data platforms. You will be responsible for deploying and managing workloads, monitoring system performance, and executing operational runbooks for upgrades and maintenance.
Candidates selected for this role will be engaged as contract personnel. The engagement involves working within established organizational workflows, adhering to standard operating procedures for cost modeling, approvals, and documentation.
