About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Web Applications Programmer to support a critical 12-month onsite contract in Tallahassee, Florida. This role is vital for maintaining and evolving large-scale enterprise web applications within a government or legislative environment.

The Role

As a Web Applications Programmer, you will serve as a bridge between technical execution and strategic leadership. You will be responsible for developing robust solutions using Microsoft ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core, while ensuring alignment with complex business requirements. Your day-to-day involves not only writing code but also managing the full project lifecycle—from gathering requirements and creating technical specifications to overseeing testing and documentation.

You will work closely with leadership, stakeholders, and legislative bodies to provide weekly status reports and monthly written updates. These communications will highlight accomplishments, address areas of concern, and propose recommended solutions. A key part of your mission is to ensure that technical direction and standards are strictly followed while managing change control for scope, budget, and schedule adjustments that impact the project's critical path.

What You Will Do

In this capacity, you will assist in the overall planning and management of projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards. You will produce comprehensive technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, designs, traceability matrices, and testing artifacts. Your work will directly support the verification of modifications to ensure that project objectives are met, utilizing tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS) to handle batch processing and data loading.

Application Instructions

Candidates must clearly state their minimum qualifications on their resume, as these will be verified via reference checks. Please submit your application detailing your experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint 365 administration, and large-scale enterprise development.
