About the Role

SSI is seeking a Web and Digital Interface Designer to work onsite at a Navy program in Norfolk, VA. In this capacity, you will serve as a SharePoint and Teams web content manager, playing a pivotal role in the development, customization, and optimization of digital collaboration tools across the organization.

Your day-to-day work involves bridging the gap between technical capabilities and user needs. You will enhance the integration of SharePoint with Microsoft Teams to streamline collaboration and document management, while also developing Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards to automate repetitive tasks and improve business processes. As a key collaborator with NAVSEA 03, PEO Digital, and Flank Speed, you will ensure that the Content Processing Application (CPA) remains aligned with organizational changes and updates.

Beyond development, you will act as a steward for the organization's digital content. This includes labeling, organizing, and coding files for tracking, creating site components like calendars and contact lists, and working closely with CPA staff to document and organize content. You will also be responsible for providing training and documentation to end users and internal IT teams to ensure smooth adoption, as well as offering post-implementation support to maintain solution security and optimization.
