About the Role

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is a pivotal link in our operations, ensuring seamless logistics between our two facilities. You will serve as the primary handler for all inbound and outbound movements, utilizing a box truck to transport raw materials and finished goods. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where accuracy in inventory management and safety in material handling are paramount.

Your day will involve a blend of physical activity and technical precision. From accepting and signing for vendor deliveries to managing the flow of waste to the dumpster, you will keep the warehouse moving. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to utilizing barcode systems for order processing, pulling orders via pick tickets, and preparing shipping samples. You will also handle specialized tasks such as down-packing chemicals from large totes to smaller containers according to customer specifications and managing overseas shipments, including HAZMAT and corrosive materials.
