As an On-Premise Warehouse Supervisor at Spec's Family Partners, you will serve as the operational backbone of our facility, ensuring that company goals and objectives are met through the effective supervision of a diverse team. This role is critical for maintaining inventory integrity, managing vehicle maintenance, and guaranteeing on-time customer order delivery. You will not only monitor productivity but also actively demonstrate our mission and core values daily, fostering a culture of efficiency and excellence.
The position requires a hands-on leader who understands and can execute the functions of subordinates, including Class C Delivery Drivers, Warehouse Associates, Material Handlers, and Cleaning Crew members. You will be responsible for creating weekly schedules, coaching employees, and ensuring a clean, safe workplace that adheres to OSHA regulations. Success in this role demands a self-starter with strong conflict resolution skills who can maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment while managing the physical demands of a warehouse setting.
We provide a fun and positive environment for our staff, though the nature of the work involves exposure to outside weather conditions within our warehouses. The noise level is typically moderate to loud, and the role requires significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 100 pounds). You must be capable of operating industrial machinery to move pallets weighing up to 2,400 pounds. This is an on-site position; attendance and timeliness are required, and remote work is not an option.
This is a full-time position, typically requiring 40 hours per week. You must be available to work any shift on Fridays or Saturdays, as we schedule based on the specific needs of the business. Working outside of your scheduled time without Store Manager approval is prohibited, and hours cannot be made up without prior manager consent.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old, as required by state law. While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, we value experience as a strong alternative. Please ensure you possess the necessary communication skills to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, as well as the mathematical ability to manage inventory without the aid of a calculator. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for scheduling and calendar management is also expected.
