About the Role
As an entry-level operations management trainee, you will shadow assigned employees and management teams to learn and perform duties across various departments. This rotational approach allows you to gain hands-on experience in yard operations, millwork, production, dispatch, scheduling, delivery, safety, sales, finance, and human resources. You will actively participate in the development of operating budgets and capital expenditure recommendations to support operational and financial goals.
The position offers a dynamic work environment where you will split your time between company facilities and customer sites. This includes driving to customer locations and working in settings that range from typical office environments to outdoor construction sites with varying weather conditions. The role requires physical activity, including the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds on occasion, as well as performing tasks that may involve climbing, pushing, or kneeling.
