About the Role

Family Dollar is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the logistics chain, ensuring that merchandise is received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped efficiently to support our retail operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment within a fast-paced distribution center setting.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a variety of tasks depending on the specific needs of the warehouse, such as receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory management, packing, shipping, or inventory control, or inventory management. Key activities include:

• Unloading delivery trucks and sorting merchandise.
• Scanning inventory into warehouse systems to maintain accurate records.
• Picking merchandise for store orders and packing and labeling shipments.
• Stacking and wrapping pallets and organizing warehouse inventory.
• Adhering to all warehouse safety procedures and productivity standards.
