About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the logistics chain, assisting with the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of merchandise, and ensuring that store orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high productivity and safety standards.
Day in the Life
As a Warehouse Worker, your day will involve a variety of essential tasks depending on the needs of the warehouse. You may work across different departments, including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory management, packing, shipping, or inventory management. Key responsibilities include unloading trucks, sorting merchandise, scanning inventory into warehouse systems, picking store systems, picking store orders, packing boxes, labeling shipments, stacking pallets, and organizing warehouse inventory.
You will be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, and organized work environment while following all warehouse safety procedures. This role requires physical activity and attention to detail in a dynamic distribution center setting.
