About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the logistics chain, ensuring that merchandise is efficiently received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped to support our retail operations. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high productivity and safety standards.
Day in the Life
As a Warehouse Worker, your day will involve a variety of essential tasks depending on the specific needs of the warehouse, such as receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory management, packing, shipping, or inventory control, or inventory management. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and scanning inventory into warehouse systems, and tracking systems. Your duties will also include picking store orders, packing and labeling shipments, stacking and wrapping pallets, and organizing warehouse inventory to ensure all items are ready for distribution.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment is a key part of your responsibilities. You will follow all warehouse safety procedures and adhere to productivity standards while working in a dynamic shifts. Depending on operational needs, you may rotate through different departments, providing a well-rounded experience in warehouse operations.

We offer competitive compensation ranging from $15 to $21 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, overnight shift differentials based on shift and location.
