About the Role

Family Dollar is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the logistics chain, assisting with the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of merchandise, and ensuring that store orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment within a fast-paced distribution center setting.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a variety of tasks depending on the specific needs of the warehouse, such as receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory management, packing, shipping, or inventory management. Key activities include unloading trucks, sorting merchandise, scanning inventory into warehouse systems, picking store systems, and organizing warehouse inventory. You will also be responsible for packing and labeling shipments, stacking and wrapping pallets, and ensuring all safety procedures and productivity standards are followed.
