About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the logistics chain, ensuring that merchandise is received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped efficiently to support our retail operations. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of productivity and safety.
Day in the Life
As a Warehouse Worker, your day will involve a variety of tasks depending on the specific needs of the warehouse, such as receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory management, packing, shipping, or inventory departments. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, sorting merchandise, and stacking pallets, scanning inventory into warehouse systems, and out of warehouse systems, and organizing inventory to ensure accuracy. Attention to detail is key as you pick store orders, pack boxes, label shipments, and wrap pallets for distribution.

Safety is a top priority at Family Dollar. You will be expected to follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Working in a distribution center can be physically demanding, requiring you to stay active and focused throughout your shift. Compensation and Incentives
This position typically pays between $15 and $21 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, overnight shift differentials, holiday pay, and performance-based bonuses. We also offer attendance and productivity bonuses, as well as shift differential pay for overnight shifts, depending on the specific shift and location.
