About the Role

Family Dollar is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the logistics chain, ensuring that merchandise is efficiently received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped to support our retail operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment within a fast-paced distribution setting.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including unloading trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing inventory. Depending on the needs of the warehouse, you may work across different departments such as receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory management, packing, or shipping. You will scan inventory into warehouse systems, pick store orders, and prepare shipments by packing and labeling boxes. Additionally, you will be responsible for stacking and wrapping pallets to ensure safe transport. Throughout your shift, you must adhere to strict warehouse safety procedures and productivity standards.
