About the Role
The Warehouse Lead serves as a coach and leader for warehouse associates, bridging the gap between individual contributors and management. In this role, you will not only execute your own daily tasks but also guide teammates in fulfilling theirs. Depending on the specific department, your focus may shift between shipping and receiving, packaging, inventory control, or material handling. You will act as a vital backup to the supervisor, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely. As a leader, you are expected to uphold Kenco's three key pillars: be honest, serve, and get better, striving for operational excellence and innovation while helping the team grow.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers on daily tasks
- check_circleConduct Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and annual recertification training
- check_circleSafely operate powered industrial equipment to load, unload, and store materials
- check_circleComplete shipping and tracking paperwork per standard operating procedures
- check_circleParticipate in inventory and cycle count activities and report variances
- check_circlePerform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks using the Safety Checklist
- check_circleReview and analyze daily production reports
- check_circleCommunicate and report any incidents to the supervisor
- check_circleEnsure facility remains inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs
Requirements
