About the Role
In this position, you will perform and assist with facility maintenance activities, ensuring buildings, equipment, and grounds operate efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace by adhering to safety management, EPA, and OSHA policies, while utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for preventative maintenance and record-keeping. The role requires interacting effectively with others, even in difficult situations, and working with minimal direction to support the broader team.
You will work in a refrigerated warehouse environment, which may involve fluctuating temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit, confined spaces, and noisy conditions. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy items, work at elevated heights with proper PPE, and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) if trained. You will also support sanitation efforts by keeping areas clean and neat throughout your shift.
Working Hours
Sunday - Wednesday, 11:00am - 9:30pm
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $25.80 per hour, with additional pay based on relevant work experience. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary, including location, education, experience, and qualifications.
