About the Role
The Group Manager Logistics I manages the overall financial, operational, and employee aspects of multiple accounts. This individual is responsible for the profitable retention and growth of business within their span of control while ensuring that financial, employee, safety, and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will partner with leadership to develop direct and indirect reports, create location processes, and drive customer satisfaction through KPI tracking and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage overall financial, operational, and employee aspects of multiple logistics accounts
- check_circleImplement safety programs to reduce accidents and review overtime to control costs
- check_circlePerform SOX invoice reconciliation and revenue recognition preparation for designated accounts
- check_circleDevelop direct and indirect reports through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations
- check_circleConduct self-audits of location processes and assign accountability to team members
- check_circleCreate location processes, maintain SCLM, and conduct cross-training for staff
- check_circleReview KPI tracking, resolve customer issues, and ensure staff training in distribution management
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in business, logistics, supply chain or 2 years relevant work experience
- verified5+ years experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry
- verified5+ years managing, leading and developing direct reports
- verified5+ years managing large multi-level teams
- verified3+ years developing and implementing logistics solutions and project management
- verified3+ years leading teams in a LEAN work environment
- verified1+ year managing customer KPIs
- verifiedBasic PC skills (Microsoft Office)
