About the Role
OEM is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking Supplier Specialists with a passion for manufacturing and aerospace to join our team. This full-time role focuses on developing partnership relationships with assigned suppliers to meet customer requirements. You will manage open order reports to minimize risk and identify opportunities to improve delivery. The position involves tracking delivery performance trends, initiating root cause analysis, and driving the timely closure of corrective actions.
A key part of your day will involve working with problematic sub-tiers to improve communication and establish achievable production commitments. You will also facilitate cross-functional department communication to prevent unnecessary delays and provide frequent written updates on mission-critical parts. Periodic local travel is required for this position, with regional travel opportunities available for those who are flexible and interested.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening. A current, valid driver's license and a successful motor vehicle history check are also mandatory requirements.
