Join the Staples World Class Supply Chain Team, where we deliver essential products to our customers. As an SC2 associate, you will be essential to the success of our operations, potentially moving between various roles including SC1 positions as business needs evolve.
This position operates within a fast-paced warehouse environment where safety is our utmost priority. You will embrace our safety culture and ensure safe work practices at all times. The role may involve working in one of six areas: Bulk/Material Handling, Porter duties, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns processing, or Shipping.
Your day-to-day activities will vary by area but generally involve operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks. You may also perform manual tasks including unloading trucks, palletizing products, organizing and shrink-wrapping customer orders, and maintaining a clean workspace. The environment includes seasonal temperature variations, and you may be required to work at heights up to 60 feet or more.
Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally. If hired as a Full-Time associate, you must be available to work additional hours beyond your scheduled shift, as overtime will be required based on business need.
At Staples, "inclusion" is an action word. It represents what we do to ensure that all employees feel valued. We foster an inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups, encouraging an approach that forges strong relationships and collaboration among colleagues and customers.
