Warehouse Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution within a distribution or manufacturing environment. The team manages the efficient flow of products from the point of receipt from vendors to the final shipment to internal and external customers. This includes warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and demand planning.
The team performs and controls a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. Functions include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and delivery, ensuring all activities meet prescribed service parameters.
