About the Role

This position is designed to ensure the highest standards of customer service and product quality within a cold storage environment. The primary focus is on the accurate selection and loading of customer orders, proper disposal of damaged goods, and strict adherence to Herbruck's Quality Standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the supply chain by ensuring all loads are secure, clean, and documented correctly.

Working Conditions

This role requires working in a cold environment with an average temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Shifts can extend up to 12 hours, and a flexible schedule is required, including availability for weekends and holidays as assigned.

Safety and Physical Requirements

Safety is a top priority. Employees must follow all company safety rules and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves significant physical activity, including the ability to remain standing or walking for extended periods on concrete floors. You must be capable of stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting 25-50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Prior experience operating a high-lift (hi-lo) is mandatory. Additionally, candidates must not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, or cattle.
