About the Team

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is proud to operate the Hawaii Job Corps Center in Makawao, HI. Our staff provide quality services to local youth, and we value professional, caring employees dedicated to improving people's lives. We are looking for you to join our team as a Security Officer/Driver for our Prime Shift (1pm-10pm).

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for performing guard and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, and disasters. You will ensure compliance with government and management directives while maintaining a safe environment for our community.

Your day will involve securing buildings and property by checking doors, windows, lights, and emergency equipment, while maintaining logs of findings and corrective actions. You will also perform parking and traffic control duties, conduct routine vehicle equipment inspections, and provide general transportation services as necessary. Additionally, you will be prepared to respond to fire alarms, assist in fire suppression efforts, and set up and check the operation of intrusion alarm systems. In the event of disturbances, you will assist staff and law enforcement personnel in controlling the situation and conducting preliminary investigations of crimes.
