About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Land Acquisition to manage all aspects of land acquisition, due diligence, feasibility, design, and entitlements for the Division. This is a career with purpose, built on making dreams come true through the delivery of zero-defect homes, rigorous cost management, and strict adherence to schedules.

In this role, you will lead the strategic planning and growth objectives for the division, working closely with the Division President. You will oversee the full lifecycle of land development, from identifying potential acquisition targets and negotiating purchase contracts to securing governmental approvals and managing the design and construction of community amenities. As a leader, you will recruit, hire, and train associates, coaching your team to achieve top performance while finding efficient solutions that create organizational value. You will also represent the division at public hearings, manage joint venture partner meetings, and maintain strong relationships with attorneys, engineers, brokers, and other key industry contacts.
