Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOwn and steward key fraud and credit data sources for analytics and reporting
- check_circleDesign and maintain fraud analytics solutions using SAS batch and real-time workflows
- check_circleBuild and optimize data pipelines, queries, and analytical datasets for fraud detection
- check_circleMonitor critical data feeds and perform reconciliations to ensure data quality
- check_circlePartner with Data Engineering teams to maintain data definitions and lineage documentation
- check_circleSupport large-scale migrations including requirements gathering and production cutover
- check_circleEstablish controls to ensure timely availability of recurring datasets and prevent outages
- check_circleSchedule, monitor, and troubleshoot production jobs and batch processes
Requirements
- verified7-10 years experience in data infrastructure
- verified5+ years SAS experience
- verifiedStrong SQL skills
- verified5+ years Financial Services experience
- verifiedAbility to travel
- verifiedBachelor's degree in STEM (preferred)
- verified18 years or older
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedLegal authorization to work in the U.S.
- verifiedPass drug test and background investigation
- verifiedSatisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or any Quantitative field. Ability to lead projects by influencing and aligning team members who are not direct reports. Proven experience with large-scale migrations, conversions, or modernization efforts (data, platforms, or analytics tooling). Experience with SAS Viya Cloud Environment. Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern data ecosystems. Proven experience using Copilot and other generative AI tools and solutions to improve productivity and outcomes. Proven hands-on experience utilizing open-source tools such as R and Python. Ability to effectively delegate projects, project negotiation skills, and skills to coach junior members on the team.
