We are seeking an experienced Virtual Desktop Systems Engineer to join our national intelligence program. This role is pivotal in delivering engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades, and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions. The position places a specific emphasis on User Profile administration within a large, distributed computing environment.
In this role, you will be the guardian of system performance and security. Your day-to-day involves managing user accounts, permissions, and licenses while proactively resolving technical issues. You will analyze data to identify areas for infrastructure improvement, ensuring compliance with rigorous performance standards and industry regulations. Beyond troubleshooting, you will coordinate with network engineers to maintain smooth operations across multi-user systems, monitor enterprise resources, and assess enterprise designs to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong communication skills to interact with users and interfacing applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining processes, test cases, and user guidelines, ensuring that our systems remain robust and efficient. Please note that travel may be required within the National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis to meet customer or corporate requirements.
