Snapsheet is the industry leader in virtual property damage claims. While others are just now adapting to remote models, we engineered the standard. We provide the cloud-based architecture and elite technical expertise that over 170+ P&C Carriers, MGAs, and TPAs rely on to deliver precise outcomes. Our specialized services span the entire claim lifecycle, including virtual handling for auto, specialty lines, total loss, and total loss settlements.
This position is designed for analytical reviewers who can research and support a technical position through negotiations and informed decision-making. As a Virtual Claims Negotiator, you will be a technical expert with high-level problem-solving skills who thrives on executing tactical, high-volume work. We are not looking for candidates who can simply write basic auto collision estimates; we need those who ensure repair plans are consistent with the reported facts of loss.
You will take ownership of claims by identifying discrepancies and elevating questionable damages to leadership or the carrier for further review. This role is ideal for an individual contributor who is energized by high-volume production (10–16 claims per day) and prefers actively engaging in the negotiation process rather than relying on automated adjustment tools. You will navigate the nuances of fast-paced, high-competition markets while maintaining a consistent, polished professional tone in all correspondence.
At Snapsheet, we know that growth doesn't happen in a vacuum—it's fueled by the right support at the right time. We offer a rapid advancement path with quarterly opportunities for promotion based strictly on your production and technical mastery. There is a clear path to grow based on performance and development, supported by 1-on-1 management and goal-setting sessions to sharpen your technical and professional edge.
Our remote community is active and engaged, featuring team events, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and digital communities. We maintain a casual dress code and believe in compensating fairly for effort through a structured bonus program for those who exceed daily production requirements.
To ensure a fair and efficient hiring process, we kindly ask candidates to apply no more than once every six months. The evaluation process may include a technical proficiency assessment using CCC One. Prior to your start date, you must currently hold a valid state insurance appraisal license or complete an online licensing class (paid for by Snapsheet). Non-licensed candidates are required to successfully complete all coursework and the final exam prior to their offer letter start date.
This role is remote-based in the U.S. but is not eligible for hire in CA, CO, NY, WA, KY, MT, WY, MA, OR, IL, HI, UT, or AK.
Snapsheet is an equal opportunity employer.
