YWCA Clark County is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women. Every role within the organization carries a strong social justice component, requiring employees to think critically through the lens of racism and its intersections with poverty. We are committed to grounding our daily work in the core principles of anti-racism and understanding how systemic oppressions are embedded in institutions.
We value lived experience and are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. We recognize that systemic barriers often prevent qualified candidates from applying if they do not meet every single listed qualification. If you are excited about this role but your background doesn't align perfectly with every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Vice-President of Marketing & Communications is a strategic leader responsible for the organization's entire marketing and communications function. As a team of one, you will set and execute the strategic direction for all brand activities, content production, and campaign delivery.
This role leverages a network of contractors, interns, and external partners to bring initiatives to life. You will craft, plan, and evaluate efforts that effectively communicate the organization's mission, programs, and impact to donors, community members, and program participants. Your work will ensure that the YWCA's commitment to social justice is reflected in every piece of content, from quarterly newsletters and annual reports to social media campaigns and press releases.
In this position, you will not only manage the day-to-day operations of marketing and communications but also serve as a liaison between the organization and its external partners. You will oversee brand identity, manage vendor relationships, and analyze metrics to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will foster positive relationships internally and externally while ensuring that all activities uphold the organization's core values of respect, dignity, and racial equity.
YWCA Clark County prioritizes work-life balance and employee well-being. This full-time, exempt role includes 8 hours of Company Sponsored Time each Friday, allowing you to maintain a 40-hour work week while enjoying paid time off for personal pursuits.
Applications will be reviewed starting May 13. To be considered for this position, please complete all screener questions and upload your resume, cover letter, and portfolio materials. We look forward to seeing how your experience and passion for social justice align with our mission.
