The Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) serves as a key member of the President's Council, reporting directly to the President. This executive role is responsible for leading and managing support for over 900 undergraduate residential students at the main campus in Rindge, many of whom are student-athletes, as well as more than 600 graduate students across our Academic Centers in Texas, Arizona, and New Hampshire.
The VPSA will develop a strategic vision and plan for student services programming designed to foster student growth and development. Key areas of focus include driving student retention initiatives, policy development, ensuring compliance with Title IX, and managing the student affairs budget. The role oversees critical divisions including Student Health & Wellness, Conduct, Student Housing and Residential Life, Multicultural Program and Services, Counseling Services, and Campus Safety.
Success in this position requires building and maintaining collaborative relationships with all university divisions and the local community. The VPSA will intentionally cultivate a campus climate that upholds mutual respect, inclusivity, and high academic, personal, and social standards. The position is full-time with a target start date of July 15, 2026, though flexibility is available for the right candidate. While primarily an on-campus role, a flexible work schedule is possible, and relocation assistance is available.
