Within the CIB, the Markets division provides solutions to clients with the means to manage their exposure through various derivatives, lending, and cash products. This includes the Structured Products Group (SPG), Rates, Equities, Foreign Exchange, Municipal Products Group, and Credit Sales & Trading.
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Manager for Electronic Trading within the Structured Product Groups (SPG). SPG provides asset-backed lending, capital markets, financing, secondary trading liquidity, and sales distribution to institutional clients. This role exists to enhance how SPG products are supported through electronic trading capabilities, ensuring they evolve in a way that reflects real trading behavior, market structure, and risk considerations.
As a senior product role, you will own a consolidated electronic trading Book of Work. You will partner closely with Trading, Sales, Technology, Risk, and Operations to advance electronic trading across a broad and diverse product set. Your day-to-day involves the electronification of trading workflows, the thoughtful application of automation and algorithms, and the use of data to improve trading outcomes. You will balance scale, control, and discretion in complex markets while ensuring that electronic initiatives align with governance and control expectations.

Experience in product management, trading, or trading-related technology in structured products, fixed income, or other complex markets. Strong understanding of front-office trading workflows, including pricing, execution, and risk considerations. Experience working directly with Trading and Sales teams. Ability to manage and prioritize a large, complex Book of Work. Strong communication skills and comfort operating in ambiguous environments. Experience with electronic trading workflows, including inquiry-driven or RFQ-based models. Familiarity with electronifying trading activity, including the use of automation and algorithms in less-liquid markets. Exposure to trading data, analytics, or performance monitoring in a front-office context. Understanding of market structure and execution protocol differences across asset classes. Experience partnering with Risk, Compliance, or Operations on trading-related initiatives.
