We are seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Client Operations to join our Structured Finance team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Vice President, Client Service Operations is a pivotal role within BNY, focusing on leading and enhancing client operations. The ideal candidate excels in client services (internal and external), operates effectively under tight timelines, and demonstrates rigorous attention to detail. This role supports day-to-day operational execution, exception management, and client issue resolution to ensure accurate, timely processing and outstanding client outcomes.
In this position, you will handle asset-backed (ABS) client relationships, managing accounts and service requests while providing clear, professional communication and proactive issue follow-up for both internal stakeholders and external clients. You will monitor, investigate, and resolve exceptions, breaks, and inquiries across cash, securities, and commercial paper workflows, escalating issues appropriately. Success in this role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Client Service, Risk/Compliance, and Technology—to resolve complex issues and implement remediation plans. Additionally, you will support new client onboarding, account setup, and the validation of settlement instructions where applicable, while preparing and maintaining procedural documentation, metrics, and reporting to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will ensure adherence to operational risk, compliance, and control frameworks, following established SOPs while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
