Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

The Vice President and Chief Financial Officer serves as a pivotal leadership partner to the CEO, guiding MacPhail's financial strategy and ensuring the organization's overall mission success. This role is responsible for the holistic financial health of the institution, overseeing internal accounting and finance, managing relationships with financial institutions, and acting as a key liaison to the Board's Audit & Finance and Investment Committees.

Beyond financial stewardship, the VP and CFO leads the Finance & Accounting and IT functions, ensuring that technology and resources are strategically aligned with the organization's mission. About the Team

As a member of MacPhail's Senior Leadership team, the VP and CFO works closely with the CEO, the Development team, and Music Program leadership. This cross-functional collaboration is essential for balancing mission and money, particularly in guiding program profitability and managing contributed revenue. The role involves regular engagement with the Board of Directors, providing critical insights to inform decision-making and strategic direction.

Requirements
