The Managing Veterinarian will split their time between clinical responsibilities and administrative leadership, serving as a vital link between our clinical team and practice management. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian with strong emergency experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
In this position, you will mentor, onboard, and support new and relief veterinarians while collaborating with the Practice Manager on staffing and disciplinary matters. You will serve as the primary point of contact for medical and client-related questions, assisting with complex case management and addressing client concerns. Additionally, you will play a key role in evaluating and planning major equipment purchases, pharmaceuticals, and facility upgrades.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in emergency veterinary medicine and a strong interest in developing leadership and mentorship skills. To ensure a smooth transition, you will have the opportunity to train alongside our current Managing DVM for ongoing support. You will also provide coverage for open shifts, including daytime, overnight, and holiday rotations as needed.
