About the Role
As a Medical Liaison in our Oakland Park clinic, you will serve as a vital link between patients and our multidisciplinary medical team. This role blends administrative and clinical responsibilities to enhance the quality of life for our patients. Working under the direct supervision of a Medical Provider, APRN, or PA, you will perform patient triage, assess vital signs, and manage documentation to ensure seamless provider visits.
Your day-to-day involves assessing patient symptoms via telephone to determine appropriate care pathways, assisting with medication refill requests, and navigating patients through medical supply and therapy referrals. You will also prepare patients for examinations, administer various types of injections and immunizations, conduct diagnostic tests like EKGs, and assist with minor surgical procedures. Additionally, you will support the clinic's operations by handling billing, coding, and coordinating with front desk and Health Information Management teams.
