National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is a leading global pet care organization united by a love for animals and the people who love them. Our mission is to improve the lives of pets and their owners by empowering our care teams. We nurture professional growth through resources that allow veterinarians to practice medicine their way, supported by a network of 1,000 hospitals that fosters a community of passionate professionals. From mentorship to ownership opportunities, we are committed to supporting your entire career journey.
Eastside Pet Clinic, a well-established practice in Idaho Falls since 1970, is part of this dedicated network. We have thoughtfully updated our facility to create a modern, welcoming environment, with a substantial renovation scheduled for completion in July 2025. Our clinic features seven exam rooms, a spacious treatment area, a quiet cat zone, a surgical suite with two tables, and two dedicated dental areas. We are proud of our exceptional support staff, who are passionate, knowledgeable, and constantly striving for excellence through regular training and access to online learning tools.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinarian to join our team on a full or part-time basis. This role exists to serve our loyal and extensive client base, who trust our team and are open to building relationships with new veterinarians. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, and six anesthetic machines with advanced warming and monitoring systems. We also possess the tools to perform a wide range of orthopedic procedures in-house.
While orthopedic surgery experience is not required, we welcome candidates with experience or a strong motivation to learn these procedures. A key aspect of this position is our commitment to work-life balance. Thanks to a strong partnership with a local emergency clinic, there are no overnight or weekend shifts. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your lifestyle, allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care without burnout.
Beyond the clinic, Idaho Falls offers an outstanding quality of life. The area is known for world-class fly fishing, ski resorts, hiking, mountain biking, and white-water rafting. We are just a couple of hours from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. It is a safe, family-friendly community with a reasonable cost of living, making it an ideal place to build a life and a career.
